The musician network COLCONET (Cologne Concert Network) was founded in 2019 by the German-Mexican guitarist José Díaz de León.

The focus of COLCONET's work is to network the music stronghold of Cologne internationally and create an exchange between artists. In order to create a bridge between the players of the international music scenes, COLCONET is open to a wide variety of styles. COLCONET is dedicated to independent music styles and without blinkers for styles such as contemporary and improvised music, jazz, electronic music, experimental rock and pop music and world music.
COLCONET organizes concerts in and outside Cologne and pursues the goal of bringing together artists from the most diverse cultures and providing new impulses for the Cologne music scene. Thanks to the international network, Cologne musicians also have the opportunity to perform on stages around the world in collaboration with COLCONET.

So far, artists and ensembles from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, the USA, France, Spain and Italy have taken part.

COLCONET organizes the Open Mind Festival every year at the Orangerie Theater in Cologne.
